Every story here is written by a named editor and carries their byline. We work from announcements, statements, data and the people quoted; we check names, titles, figures and dates against the source before publishing, and we say where the news came from.
Releases enter one pool and are chosen on news value. What we select is rewritten in our own words, with context for the people who run these businesses. Quotes are reproduced as given and attributed to the person who said them.
A named editor reads and approves every story before it goes live. Where a story comes from a hosted stay, meal or product sample, the story says so. Where a story makes a claim a business may dispute, we ask them for a response.
Coverage is not for sale.
We use AI tools to help monitor announcements and prepare first drafts. Editors decide what runs and what it says; see AI disclosure.
